Superintendent Heavy Civil Infrastructure
We are seeking a Superintendent (Heavy Civil - Infrastructure) to join the team in New Jersey. This role will lead field execution on a high-profile transportation project, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to spec while coordinating multiple trades and stakeholders.What You'll Do as the Superintendent (Heavy Civil - Infrastructure):Oversee daily field operations across a large-scale infrastructure projectDrive project schedules by coordinating crews, subcontractors, and materialsMonitor productivity, progress, and quality to ensure alignment with project goalsInterpret drawings and specifications to guide field executionPartner with project leadership to plan sequencing, logistics, and resource allocationEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific standardsCollaborate with client representatives, inspectors, and regulatory agenciesIdentify and resolve field issues to keep work moving efficientlyMust-Haves as the Superintendent (Heavy Civil - Infrastructure):20+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with a strong field leadership backgroundAt least 10 years in a Superintendent or similar supervisory roleProven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects valued at $200M+Hands-on experience with piles, structural concrete, and structural steelStrong knowledge of construction sequencing, methods, and safety practicesAbility to read and interpret construction documents and technical plansProficiency with tools such as MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and HCSS HeavyBidOSHA certification and strong communication skillsNice-to-Haves as the Superintendent (Heavy Civil - Infrastructure):Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldExperience working on public sector projects or with government agenciesFamiliarity with union labor environments and trade coordinationAdditional safety or first aid certificationsBenefits Offered:Opportunity to lead work on a high-visibility infrastructure projectLong-term project stability with a strong pipeline of future workCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageCollaborative, safety-focused project environmentCareer growth within a well-established construction organizationTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
