Accounting Assistant

LocationHouston, TexasPosition SummaryD Volt Co. is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting and office operations. This role will help with invoices, bills, payment records, basic bookkeeping, document organization, and communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, comfortable working with numbers, and willing to learn.Key Responsibilities· Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts.· Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.· Help maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.· Assist with bank and account reconciliations.· Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding basic accounting matters· Support month-end closing and reporting as needed.· Organize and maintain financial files and supporting documents.· Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.Qualifications· Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.· Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or related work preferred.· QuickBooks experience is a plus but not required.· Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills.· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.· Good communication skills and willingness to learn.· Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus.Employment TypeFull-time or part-time, depending on candidate availability and company needs.CompensationCompensation will be based on experience and qualifications.About D Volt Co.D Volt Co. is a Houston-based power solutions provider supporting the infrastructure behind some of today's fastest-growing industries, including data centers, utilities, renewable energy, and industrial facilities.We work with customers across North America to deliver reliable electrical solutions that help keep businesses, communities, and critical infrastructure running.
