**Position Description & Qualifications**Serco Inc. is seeking a full-time Unmanned Vehicle Specialist in Panama City, FL to support the requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, verification and validation, testing, documentation and implementation for research and development-based programs in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD).Serco's Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment (METS) business unit employs a team of Autonomous Maritime Systems (AMS) experts based out of Panama City, FL. We welcome talent with skillsets in the platforms we specialize in providing unique service offerings to our warfighters as they develop, test, and implement autonomous systems to meet critical mission objectives.**In this role, you will:**+ Supports the requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, verification and validation, testing, documentation and implementation for research and development-based programs onsite at NSWC PCD and other governmental agency stakeholder locations.+ Provide technical assistance and support to organizational programs and projects.+ Provide on-site testing support and evaluation of various unmanned platforms including Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs), Autonomous Undersea Vehicles (AUVs), and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs).+ Provide testing & evaluation support in remote and in challenging environments while aboard Navy and Commercial vehicles.+ Collaborates with operational levels of specific customers and company management.+ Conducts standard research on existing systems and makes recommendations for improvement in design and operation.+ Provide on-going technical assistance to Government customers.**To be successful in this role, you must have**+ A Secret level security clearance is required at time of employment.+ High School Diploma and 2 years' experience.+ Education and work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.+ UUV/AUV/USV operator training is preferred.+ Documented experience maintaining and operating UUVs, AUVs, and USVs is preferred.+ Experience supporting/conducting Naval research and development testing is preferred.+ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to assist with project requirements.+ Must be able to pass required training and physical examination in order to operate forklifts to move materials.+ Must be able to support land and maritime based testing in austere environments if required.+ Must be continuously flexible to changing requirements/schedules.+ Familiarity with Microsoft programs (word, excel, and outlook).+ Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time.**Company Overview**Serco Inc.
