We inspire students to think critically, creatively, and compassionately, dedicating themselves to Jewish tradition, peoplehood, and the State of Israel, and to become lifelong learners and leaders.Characteristics of Professional Excellence● Are invested in and dedicated to our mission and the school community'scontinued growth and success.● Create an inclusive, open-minded school community and learning environment for our students.● Embrace cross-curricular learning opportunities to create meaningful educationalexperiences inside and outside of the classroom.● Are passionate, dynamic, and nurturing mentors.● Seek opportunities for innovation and growth.● Value responsive and collaborative professional relationships.● Encourage students to challenge themselves to think critically about the worldaround them.● Foster authentic connections with students through support, consistency,professionalism, and understanding.● Inspire students to approach the world with awe and wonder.Position Summary:This position oversees all aspects of the women's varsity tennis program, including collaboration and coordination with the Athletic Department to ensure the continued growth and success of the program.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Plan and conduct effective practices that build athletes' skills, fitness, and teamwork.Instruct student athletes in the rules, strategies, and techniques of tennis.Promote academic achievement, leadership, and sportsmanship.Develop and maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful team culture.Supervise athletes during practices, games, travel, and school-related events.Collaborate with assistant coaches, and school administration.Maintain equipment in coordination with the Athletic Director.Communicate regularly and professionally with players, parents, and school staff.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred.Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, rules, and strategies.Ability to motivate student-athletes and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.Current CPR/First Aid certification and applicable coaching credentials (or willingness to obtain).Must pass a background check and meet all state and school employment requirements.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary of $2,200 and $4000 , depending on experience.Supportive Team Culture.Frankel Jewish Academy offers a supportive, student-centered environment that value teamwork, growth, and integrity in all athletic endeavors.Don't meet every single requirement?
