This contract role offers a chance to work in a high-capacity, technologically advanced environment dedicated to surgical excellence and patient-centered care.Location:Situated in Englewood, Colorado, the medical center is a prominent healthcare institution featuring 408 beds and a Main OR suite with 14 operating rooms, including specialized hybrid cardiovascular and cystoscopy ORs. The facility embraces a collaborative culture and cutting-edge OR equipment, including Stryker video systems, supporting a wide array of surgical procedures (except transplants). Englewood offers easy access to metro Denver amenities and beautiful nearby outdoor recreational areas.Responsibilities:Independently circulate as an RN in the OR, ensuring patient safety and smooth operative proceduresCollaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including CSTs, anesthesia techs, charge nurses, and service line coordinatorsUtilize standardized OR equipment and Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient care coordinationAdhere to unit policies and maintain a 1:1 patient ratio during surgeriesAdapt to a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and excellent communicationQualifications and Desired Experience:Licensed RN with proven independent circulating experience in the ORCNOR certification is preferred but not mandatoryExperience with Meditech EMR is advantageousAbility to scrub is a plus and will be highly consideredSchedule:Day shift hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PMThis role works within a full-support team boasting 60 FTEs with shared expertise across numerous specialties, fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace.
