Senior Full Stack Developer – Node.js / React / AWS *Location:* Chesterfield, MO – Hybrid, 3 days onsite *Employment:* W2 Contract *Duration:* Through early 2027 with potential for extension We are seeking a *Senior Full Stack Developer* to join a highly collaborative development team supporting modern, cloud-based applications. This position is heavily focused on *Node.js and TypeScript backend development*, with React on the front end and AWS supporting a distributed, event-driven architecture. This is a strong opportunity for a senior developer who understands not only individual technologies, but also *system design and how multiple application components interact within a distributed environment*. *Key Responsibilities* * Design and develop backend services using *Node.js and TypeScript* * Develop modern front-end applications using *React* * Build and support scalable REST APIs * Work within an *AWS cloud environment*, including technologies such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS and Step Functions * Work with *Kafka and other event-driven technologies* * Design and work with *PostgreSQL databases* * Participate in system design and architecture discussions * Troubleshoot and solve complex application and integration issues * Partner closely with product and business teams to understand requirements and develop effective solutions * Participate in an Agile, product-oriented development environment *Qualifications* * Strong professional experience with *Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript* * Full-stack development experience with *React* * Experience developing and supporting applications in *AWS* * Experience with *PostgreSQL* * Strong understanding of *microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architecture* * Experience designing and developing REST APIs * Ability to understand and explain how different components interact across an application * Strong problem-solving and communication skills * Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and business teams The interview process will include a *coding exercise focused on logical problem solving and thought process*, along with discussion around system design and technical experience. *W2 candidates only.
