Step into a role that not only advances your professional journey but also ensures meaningful work in a reputable healthcare environment.Required Skills:Valid and active Iowa medical license (or willing to obtain via IMLC)Board-certified or eligible in AnesthesiologyProven experience with general anesthesia cases including orthopedics, labor & delivery, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric procedures, and vascular casesStrong knowledge of EMR systems, specifically EPICExcellent communication and clinical decision-making skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently in a hospital settingNice to Have Skills:Experience working in a hospital with high surgical volume (approximately 3,600 surgeries per year)Previous Utah credentialing or multi-facility coverage experienceFamiliarity with on-call and holiday coverage proceduresAdditional certifications in pain management or related specialtiesPreferred Education and Experience:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolMinimum 2 years of clinical anesthesiology experience in a hospital environmentPrior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plusOther Requirements:Availability to start as soon as possible, with flexible scheduling primarily on Friday evenings, and full coverage on Saturdays and SundaysWillingness to handle overnight and holiday calls, including night calls and 24-hour holiday coverageTravel arrangements including preferred lodging and air travel from your location (please specify in your application if any travel restrictions or needs exist)Ability to complete credentialing process within 60 daysThis is an exceptional chance to practice in a reputable hospital that performs a wide variety of surgical procedures.
