*Job Title : Assembly Technician * *Location: Hoffman Estates, IL 60192* *Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)* *Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM* *Job Description:* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Assembly Technician to join our Molecular Imaging manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, test, and troubleshoot advanced SPECT imaging systems used by healthcare professionals worldwide to support accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Assemble, integrate, and test complex electrical and mechanical subsystems. * Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis using diagnostic tools and test equipment. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical documentation. * Operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters, test fixtures, torque tools, and lifting equipment. * Accurately document test results and communicate findings to engineering, quality, and production teams. * Identify, document, and process non-conforming materials according to quality procedures. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality standards. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Complete all required training and certifications within established timelines. *Required Qualifications* * High School Diploma or GED required. * Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field. * Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, assembly instructions, and procedures. * Experience maintaining accurate production or quality documentation. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
