About the job Controls TechnicianRole OverviewControls Technician - 2nd ShiftWe are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support the programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated control systems within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring the reliability of electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in PLC and HMI systems, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. This position requires close collaboration with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support operational goals and enhance overall system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems to ensure optimal performance of automation systemsAnalyze and resolve electrical and control system issues, including diagnosing faults in wiring, components, and logic circuitsPerform continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and uptimeWork closely with cross-functional teams to support production, maintenance, and process improvement effortsMaintain accurate documentation of control systems, updates, and modificationsAssist in system upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new equipmentShift Timings:Hours: Monday to Friday, from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PMQualificationsProven experience in PLC programming and HMI systems within an industrial or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of logic circuits and electrical troubleshooting techniquesAbility to analyze, diagnose, and improve analog and digital control systemsExcellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skillsCollege coursework or technical training in electronics, controls, or a related field is preferred
