Patient Services Representative - Almara OGI - Edina The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as patient phone calls.This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm at our Edina location and every 11th Saturday at our Maple Grove location for early AM clinic.Almara Women's Health | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential Functions:Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo IDVerify and document insurance information as defined by current business practicesAccurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management systemCommunicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copaymentsChart preparation and managementAnswer patient calls, schedule appointments and direct calls as appropriateMaintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networksMaintain timely communication with patients, families, and staffAny and all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:High School diploma/GED or equivalentCustomer Service experience requiredMedical terminology knowledge preferredBenefits & Compensation:Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.A $750 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment.
