As a Management Information System Analyst, you will bridge the gap between IT and plant operations, ensuring systems genuinely reflect and improve real-world manufacturing processes. The role offers direct impact on operational continuity, efficiency, and delivery performance.Responsibilities:Configure and support LYNQ APS finite production scheduling, modeling real-world constraints such as machines, labor, shifts, downtime, and materials.Validate, refine, and improve end-to-end scheduling processes to promote schedule stability and accurate lead times for OTIF delivery.Maintain robust integration between SAP Business One and LYNQ MES/APS, ensuring accuracy in production orders, BOMs, routings, and labor/material transactions.Troubleshoot and resolve data, system, and interface issues, eliminating manual workarounds and data silos.Support MES usage on the shop floor through terminals, scanners, and label systems, driving accurate data capture for production events.Collaborate with HQ planners and plant supervisors to align system logic with practical shop floor feedback and constraints.Lead rigorous testing cycles, user training, and post-go-live stabilization, including root-cause analysis across data, process, and system layers.Identify bottlenecks and drive system improvements to boost data quality and operational performance.Must-Have Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.5+ years in discrete manufacturing systems, especially in production scheduling and MES outcomes.3+ years’ direct experience with LYNQ MES/APS (or similar) and SAP Business One or similar ERP (SQL).Proficiency in SQL and Excel for system troubleshooting and data analysis.Deep understanding of finite capacity scheduling, multi-level BOMs, routings, and ERP–MES integration.Ability to collaborate effectively with production planners and plant supervisors to ensure system schedules match actual plant performance.Nice-to-Have Skills:Hands-on MES terminal and barcode/labeling system support on the shop floor.Experience with post-go-live support, UAT/EUT user testing cycles, and operational stabilization.Background in furniture or discrete manufacturing environments.Strong troubleshooting skills in production data, capacity setup, and shop floor automation.Experience driving adoption and process improvement among cross-functional manufacturing teams.
