Process Control Engineer

Role OverviewThis position involves identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and instruments within industrial processes. The candidate will collaborate with engineering teams on projects from concept to commissioning, including defining electrical requirements, developing design specifications, and designing control panels.ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical and control design documentation such as schematics, I/O drawings, and one-line diagramsDesign network and communication solutions for control systemsAssist in proposal development and serve as a technical advisorSet up and troubleshoot electrical instrumentation and control equipment, including PLCsFabricate and modify control panels and circuitsAnalyze system diagnostics for optimal performanceCommunicate project progress to clients and internal teamsMaintain customer relations and ensure satisfactionQualifications & SkillsB.A./B.S. in engineering, computer science, or related fieldExperience with electrical design, control systems, and AutoCADKnowledge of electrical components, instrumentation, and calibration standardsAbility to read/write technical reports and electrical drawingsStrong troubleshooting skills for PLCs and softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs., work at heights, and travel to various environments
