Company DescriptionMcGovern & Ganem, PC is an insurance defense law firm located in downtown Boston.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant at MCGOVERN & GANEM, P.C., located in Boston, MA. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to attorneys, preparing and managing legal documents, scheduling and coordinating meetings, answering phones, managing calendars, and maintaining meticulous filing systems. Daily tasks include managing and drafting correspondence, drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal requirements and deadlines.QualificationsStrong knowledge and background in writing and successful college experienceProficient in providing Administrative Assistance and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environmentExcellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and other staffExperience working as a Legal Assistant or in a related legal support roleExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency with legal software and tools, as well as standard office applicationsBachelor’s degree or relevant certification in paralegal studies or a related field is preferred
