Key Responsibilities Lead underwriting strategies for Employee Benefits products, ensuring profitability and market competitiveness Build and scale a high-performing underwriting organization through talent recruitment and development Oversee complex case underwriting and implement technology and automation in underwriting processes Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Employee Benefits underwriting with knowledge of small group and mid-market segments Direct experience with underwriting Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, and Supplemental Health products Proven leadership experience in underwriting teams, preferably at the VP level or equivalent Experience with large aggregators such as PEOs and national brokers Strong background in process engineering and technology modernization in underwriting
