Teacher Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with special needs, and will assist in implementing educational activities that promote childhood development. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students. Duties Assist the lead teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual students. Provide support to students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and classroom activities. Facilitate classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment and addressing behavioral challenges as they arise. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Help with daily routines including snack time, lunch, and personal care as needed for younger children. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Engage in ongoing communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities. Participate in training sessions related to first aid, special education practices, and early childhood education. Experience Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred. Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management techniques is essential. Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Background in early childhood education or related fields such as preschool experience is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role.
