NVH Performance Engineer Auburn Hills, Michigan Job Description:Responsible for Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) performance including road noise, body structure, isolation, and ride comfortDefine NVH enablers required to meet program targets for road noise, body structure, isolation, and ride comfortPlan, schedule, and coordinate NVH benchmarking, standardized testing, and target setting activitiesMonitor vehicle NVH performance and escalate concerns as requiredReport status in regular management forums (e.g., VIT, Umbrella) and at each program gateEnsure Vehicle Design Verification Plan (DVP) is completed accurately and on timeDrive timely root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues Key Responsibilities / Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited or equivalent) requiredExperience in Chassis, Body Structure, Mounts design, and/or ride comfort tuningMinimum 1 year of NVH engineering experienceProven ability to solve complex technical problemsDemonstrated leadership capabilityStrong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with mechanics, technicians, test, and simulation engineersExperience with benchmarking, standardized testing, and target settingAbility to communicate complex technical data clearly to cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with vehicle development program timing and NVH deliverablesProficiency in NVH analysis tools (e.g., LMS, Head Acoustics, Brüel & Kjær) Mandatory Skills:NVH Transfer Path Analysis – Level 3NVH Vehicle Airborne Testing – Level 3NVH Vehicle Structure-Borne Testing – Level 3 "All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran"
