EHS Specialist
Brief DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for managing key EHS aspects for 2 to 3 business units to include trainingdevelopment, scheduling, implementation and working with 3rd party providers as needed. Lead EHS and manufacturing teams in identifying hazards in the workplace and corrective actions. Perform routine inspections and evaluate workplace environments, equipment and practices forcompliance with corporate and government health and safety standards and regulations, maintainreporting accordingly. Design and implement workplace processes and procedures. Support accident and incident investigation and corrective actions Support the ergonomic program through workstation and process evaluations Partner with multiple work groups to control or correct potentially hazardous conditions or equipment Perform routine safety and compliance inspectionsSkills & AbilitiesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, safety or related technical field or an equivalentCombination Of Education And Experience Is Required.Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ EHS experience in a manufacturing environment is required.Computer Skills: Skilled with MS Office suite and working knowledge of REBA and NIOSH LiftingEquation methods and tools for ergonomic analysis.Certificates & Licenses:Other Requirements: Detail-oriented and a high level of problem-solving skills. Skill in performing safetyinspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards. Ability to react calmly and effectivelyin emergency situations.
