Radiology Physician

Facility in Rockford, IL seeking Radiology locums coverage Rates: $450/hr Opportunity Highlights Start Date: June 1, 2026. Shifts Needed: Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (2 providers needed). Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (1 provider needed). Schedule: Approximately 20 shifts per month. Work-Life Balance: No call required. EMR: Epic. Cross-Credentialing: Providers will be cross-credentialed to support regional system coverage. Clinical Responsibilities Providers will be responsible for high-volume interpretation across a broad spectrum of diagnostic modalities. Interpretations: General diagnostic studies including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy. Workflow: Providing timely, accurate reads for the Emergency Department, Inpatient units, and Outpatient clinics. Communication: Directly communicating significant or urgent findings to ordering physicians to ensure rapid patient care. Requirements Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (Required). Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) Medical License and IL CSR must be in hand at the time of submission. Note: IMLC is not accepted. Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience. Certifications: Active ACLS and DEA (Required). Credentialing: 60-day timeframe for full or temporary privileges.
