Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

* This is a contingent opportunityThe ISSO is responsible for the administration and management of the Information Security program for Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) Staff Security Office.Duties : Provide Information Systems Security Officer duties for USSF, to include coordination of software and hardware change /problem resolution, account access, data transfers, scanning, and copying data to/from external media;Attend required technical and security training (e.g. Operating system, networking, security management) relative to assigned duties;Maintain compliance for designated HQSF locations throughout HQSF Area of Responsibility (AOR) IAW AF, DoD and IC guidance;Conduct annual Cyber Assurance self-assessments and program reviews for all assigned SCI and/or SAP facilities;Provide AF Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) account and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificate support and troubleshooting assistance;Process information technology (IT) and asset requirements and purchases;Oversee IT disposal and destruction IAW DoD policies and agency procedures;Conduct annual hardware inventories and maintain records of IT systems within facilities overseen by DSZ;Oversee the identifying and triggering of local incident response procedures to assess and cleanup classified message incidents and report to delegated authorities.Requirements: 5-10 years experience in cybersecurity and Network InfrastructureWorking knowledge if Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include Communication Security (COMSEC) integrationWorking-level knowledge of applicable security policy manuals, DCIDs, JAFANs, and other policy documents.Certification: Security+ is requiredClearance: Active TS/SCI clearanceBenefits : K2 Group's benefit offerings include: Medical/ Dental/ Vision Insurance; FSA Medical & FSA Dependent Care; Pre-tax 401(k) & ROTH 401(k) plans; Profit Sharing Plan; Life & Accidental Death Insurance; Short Term/ Long Term Disability; Voluntary Group Life Powered by JazzHR
