Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Physician Assistant for our Virginia/ Maryland offices.Apply (by clicking the relevant button) after checking through all the related job information below.Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.Physician Assistant Requirements: must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia/ Maryland.Advanced Spine and Pain Centers provides a competitive salary and benefits package. Please forward resume for consideration.The Pain Management Physician Assistant duties include but not limited to:*Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;*Reviewing patient's medical history:*Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;*Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;*Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;*Performing joint injections;Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies;*Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients;*Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.Qualifications:Active VA and/or MD license;*Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred;*Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.*Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.*Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain. xhyhwjd *Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.Job Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat pain management/ orthopaedic patientsQualifications: VA and/or MD license Certified PACWorking Hours: Office hours Monday-Friday 7A-5P (8 hour shifts
