Job Duties/Scope Of Work
This position resides in the Workforce Solutions Rewards & Support department which oversees Benefits Administration for the Hanford Employee Welfare Trust (HEWT). We are looking for a personable, highly organized, detail-oriented individual to support the Total Rewards & Support team. In this position, primary responsibilities include explaining benefits programs, data entry and providing customer service to the Hanford Site, as well as operational administration of the Hanford Employee Welfare Trust (HEWT).
To be successful, the person occupying this position must be able to perform tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Have extensive employee and public contact while providing excellent customer service.
Interface regularly with other departments, other contractors' employees, and service providers.
Receive inquiries and either assist employees directly, if appropriate, or route for further assistance to the appropriate subject matter expert; help resolve any problems or questions in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, knowledge of governing plan policies and procedures.
Scan and perform data entry on employee documentation into IDMS.
Provide strong support for administrative and reporting needs including support during high-volume periods such as End-of-Year, Annual Enrollment, HEWT Quarterly Committee Meetings, etc.
Verify, process, and maintain documentation related to benefits enrollments and administration.
Perform self-audits to ensure data integrity of the Plan's employee data using Access and HRIS.
Review documents for accuracy and consistency.
Work with and properly protect sensitive, private, and official use only information.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned related to the needs of this department and Workforce Solutions.
Basic Qualifications
*High School diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of clerical experience.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Must possess a strong attention to detail in a highly technical work environment and the ability to quickly adapt to changing work demands.
Working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
General knowledge of employee benefits process and data.
Desired Qualifications
*Experience writing, maintaining and following complex desk procedures.
Previous experience administering benefits.
Experience with PeopleSoft HRIS.
Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 6: $52,150 - $65,750
Grade 7: $57,450 - $72,450
