DB2 Administrator(W2 applicants only)

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a DB2 Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of DB2 on [z/OS, LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows), or other specific platform]. Experience with DB2 tools such as DB2 Command Line Processor (CLP), IBM Data Studio, and DB2 Optimizer. Proficiency in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery planning. Understanding of database security practices and role-based access control. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python) for automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
