Educational Support ServicesBusiness Support ServicesOffice Administrative ServicesHome Health Care ServicesManagement, Scientific, and Technical Consulting ServicesJob Description:Develop detailed cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases for a multi‐building, large‐scale construction campusProduce and present monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and funding informationCoordinate cost data from design teams, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for thorough cost validationCompile built cost records to support benchmarking and continuous improvementReview contractor and subcontractor pricing and lead commercial negotiations to drive fair and competitive contract valuesLead the review, estimation, negotiation, and reconciliation of change orders throughout the construction lifecycleManage post‐contract cost variances, change control processes, commitment logs, and contingency trackingSupport cost risk analysis, scenario planning, and cost‐impact assessmentsEnsure cost, schedule, and scope integration in coordination with project controls teamsContribute to procurement strategy development and scope alignment across multiple construction packagesParticipate in contractor pricing reviews and support the client through commercial negotiationsEnsure timely agreement of final accounts and maintain a robust process for cost auditing and validationAct as the primary day‐to‐day client interface, ensuring objectives are met and service excellence is deliveredPrepare written commentary on contractor submissions and provide cost estimate updates at key milestonesCoordinate with general contractors, design partners, and stakeholders across a large, multi‐phase construction campusInform engineering and design priorities based on cost considerationsLead and coordinate value engineering (VE) sessions with stakeholdersProvide insight into market trends, escalation, and construction cost driversPrepare monthly cost reports and ensure all commercial documentation is accurate and timelyImplement and maintain Turner & Townsend's Business Management Systems and delivery methodologiesDemonstrate strong financial management, including margin tracking and monthly fee/resource forecastingMentor, coach, and support the development of junior team membersPromote a high‐performance, one‐business culture across the teamDisplay excellence in leadership and service delivery in line with commission requirementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field5–7+ years of relevant experience in construction cost management on medium to large‐scale projects of moderate to high complexityData center construction experience, or experience in mission‐critical, high‐tech, industrial, semiconductor, or other large‐scale technical facilities is strongly preferredConstruction consulting experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of cost planning, procurement routes, commercial management, value management, and value engineeringRICS accreditation or progress toward certification preferredExcellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical skillsProficiency with industry‐standard cost management tools and softwareBenefits:Health insuranceFlexible working hoursProfessional development opportunitiesPaid time off
