Senior Accountant (Temporary)
The Senior Accountant (Temporary) plays a key role on the Accounting team during a high-impact period, with primary responsibility for leading audit coordination, statutory reporting, and tax compliance. This role ensures accuracy, continuity, and adherence to regulatory requirements across core accounting functions, including year-end reporting, audit execution, income tax filings, and sales and use tax compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience with project accounting in a technology environment, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all financial aspects of projects are documented and communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze project expenditures, providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with customer contracts and internal accounting policies.
Prepare and present financial reports and data during audits and assist with audit inquiries as needed.
Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices within the technology and professional services industries.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in project accounting, preferably within professional services or the technology industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to prioritize effectively with a strong sense of urgency.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing payroll processing, particularly using ADP.
Willingness and ability to work extended hours or outside of traditional business hours, as needed, to meet deadlines and collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities, frequent context switching, and tight deadlines.
Strong business acumen with the ability to think holistically and connect the dots across teams, processes, and outcomes.
A consistent approach to work that aligns with and reinforces Isos Technology’s values and culture.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, low-distraction work-from-home environment.
Additional Information:
This is a remote, temporary assignment. Candidates must be available to work Central Time business hours.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to complete Form I-9 documentation within three business days of start.

This position is primarily a work from home position and we consider applicants throughout the United States. We support pay transparency and the hourly range for this position is between $50-70 hourly. Actual compensation can vary based on qualifications, experience, additional incentive opportunities, and geographic pay differentials.
