The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Kotlin, Java, Android development, Jetpack Compose, REST APIs, API security, and modern Android development frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain native Android applications.Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile application features.Develop mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.Implement architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVP.Integrate REST APIs and centralized authentication services.Implement secure API communication using industry-standard protocols.Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning.Investigate and estimate new features and technical enhancements.Work closely with Product Owners, BA, QA, and technical teams.Work with device capabilities including biometrics, camera, location, notifications, and permissions.Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing.Required Skills & Qualifications7+ years of overall mobile development experience.5+ years of Android development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java.4+ years of experience with REST APIs and API authentication.Strong experience with MVVM.Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, Postman, and Firebase.OAuth/API security experience is mandatory.Strong design and programming skills using layouts and Jetpack Compose.Experience with Retrofit, GSON, RxJava, and Kotlin Coroutines.Knowledge of databases, rules, and CRUD operations.Strong Agile/Scrum experience.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Google services.Experience with biometric authentication.Experience with enterprise-scale mobile applications
