What you’ll Build and Own: End-to-end feature development across BuildOn’s web applications, delivering scalable front-end and back-end solutions aligned with Agile sprint objectives Full lifecycle software development, from requirements analysis and architecture design through deployment, testing, and ongoing enhancement User-centric application experiences within our flagship platform VEO Design Studio, enabling homebuyers to visualize and configure home features such as cabinets, flooring, appliances, and design upgrades High-performance web applications, ensuring responsiveness, stability, and scalability across complex workflows Clean, maintainable codebases, implementing unit testing, integration testing, and participating in peer code reviews Modern API-driven architecture, building and maintaining RESTful services that support seamless system integrations Technical collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into elegant technical solutions Continuous improvement of development practices, contributing ideas that enhance performance, architecture, and code quality Active participation in Agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives Who You Are 3–5 years of professional software development experience within modern web application environments Strong experience with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Skilled in .NET Web API and ASP.NET for building scalable backend services Experience working with single-page application frameworks such as Angular or Aurelia Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON data structures Experience with MS SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for data modeling and database interaction Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design, design patterns, and multi-tier application architectures Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture concepts Comfortable working with Git-based version control systems Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A self-driven, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced development environments Bonus: Experience working within SaaS, homebuilding technology, configuration platforms, or visualization tools.
