This role is remote in the EST time zone and the ideal candidate must be located there. Strong preference for candidates located in Charlotte NC, Dallas / Irvine TX, Birmingham AL.Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnable transparency, flow, and continuous improvement in multiple initiatives at onceFacilitate Scrum ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, reviews, retros)Proactively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder team progressCoach the team on Scrum and agile best practicesProtect the team from distractions and scope creepHelp improve team performance and flow over timeGuide agile teams in adopting the Scrum framework to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality productsFoster a self-organizing and high-performing team environmentEducate the team and organization on Scrum principles, agile values, and best practicesAct as a liaison between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure goal alignmentPromote continuous improvement and help the team maintain high velocityStrong understanding of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)Ensure adherence to Agile principlesSupport team self-organizationIdentify blockers impacting deliveryWork with leadership to remove organizational barriersCoach developers, QA, and Product Owners on Agile practicesPromote continuous improvementTrack sprint progressMonitor metrics such as velocity, burn-down charts, release planningCommon Agile tools include Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MiroBasic technical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, API integrationsSkills And QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of working as a Project Manager/Scrum Master within enterprise environmentExperienced using ServiceNow, AWS, and Microsoft knowledge while using Rally (Agile Tool)Scrum Master Certification not required but preferredPrevious Bank industry experience not required but preferredPrior PM / Scrum experience (proven track record)Excellent / top tier communication skillsStrong expertise in Agile frameworksDeep understanding of Scrum principles and practicesExperience facilitating Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, RetrospectivesKnowledge of Agile scaling frameworks such as SAFe, Large-Scale ScrumStrong understanding of backlog refinement, story point estimation, velocity tracking, sprint metricsWage RangeThe rate for this position is between $65.00 - $70.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher.
