Compounding Pharmacy Technician

DescriptionPrepare and compound sterile medications in accordance with established safety guidelines and regulatory standardsMaintain proficiency in aseptic technique and continuously ensure compliance with sterile compounding practicesSupport inventory management by assisting with ordering, receiving, and maintaining medications and suppliesIdentify and help resolve issues related to compounding equipment, systems, or processesComplete routine cleaning, environmental monitoring, and documentation to maintain a compliant sterile environmentCollaborate with the team to prioritize and respond to compounding requests in a timely mannerStay up to date on training and best practices related to sterile compounding through ongoing education and hands-on practiceHours: Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pmRequired QualificationsActive and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio1+ years of sterile compounding experiencePreferred QualificationsAbility to work independently to solve high-stakes problemsCertified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certificationPharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certificationJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
