The technician performs various technical and supportive tasks necessary to provide pharmacy services. The pharmacy technician works under supervision of the pharmacist, and focuses on accurate medication preparation following established policy and procedures set forth by the Pharmacy Department. This role meets the requirements of being a qualified pharmacy technician as established by the State Board of Pharmacy and is registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern, a registered technician, or certified technician.
