Reporting to the Director of CRM, the Developer will take ownership of all programmatic requests; collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate proposals, and deliver solutions.Key Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits)Review code; edit as needed; make iterationsDevelop & maintain SF CPQ Billing systemsDevelop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirementsCustom User Interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web ComponentsIntegrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organizationAdhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom developmentTake ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and codeCollaborate with IT / Developers to integrate across the businessSupport the Salesforce AdministratorCreate the code; ability to iterate as neededCreate & Maintain Technical DocumentationCollaborate w Director of CRM to ensure we have a scalable system architectureRequirements3+ years experience of Salesforce development experience3+ years experience using Sales Cloud and Service Cloud2+ years experience in CPQ development, implementation & IterationAbility to evaluate and make important iterations to existing codeAbility to work independentlyAbility to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team membersProficient with Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycleCertified Salesforce Platform Developer IAdditional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer IExperience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and JavaGeneral web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavascriptA proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practicesAbility to write, interpret, and critique technical specificationsExperience working with large data sets and bulkificationAbility to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholdersCompetency in other languages / development (XML, Flex, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, C++, SOAP-based web servicesActive in the Salesforce communityWe get it.
