The firm’s attorneys have extensive experience in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels and are committed to delivering high-quality legal representation.The firm also utilizes its innovative Client Update and Entry System, known as CLUES, which provides clients with transparency, real-time case updates, direct communication tools, and customized financial reporting.Role DescriptionCohn & Dussi, LLC is seeking a senior-level Associate Attorney with at least six (6) years of experience to join its growing South Florida practice. This is a full-time remote position for a candidate residing in South Florida.The selected attorney will work closely with the firm’s Florida legal team in representing financial institutions, equipment finance companies, and SBA lenders in workouts, commercial litigation, collections, bankruptcy-related matters, and commercial real estate transactions.Responsibilities will include handling sophisticated litigation and transactional matters, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and legal agreements, managing discovery, participating in court appearances and hearings, communicating directly with clients, assisting with case strategy, and supporting matters through all phases of litigation, workouts, recovery efforts, and commercial transactions.The ideal candidate must be capable of working independently, managing an active caseload, exercising sound legal judgment, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced remote environment.QualificationsMinimum of six (6) years of experience in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, workouts, bankruptcy, commercial lending, or commercial real estate transactionsStrong legal research, analytical, and drafting skillsExperience handling complex litigation matters and client communications independentlyExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectivelyProficiency with legal research platforms, case management systems, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionallyFlorida Bar admission requiredAdditional federal court admissions are a plus.
