This role provides instructional support and classroom management in the absence of the regular special education teacher and ensures continuity of learning for students with diverse needs, including those with IEPs, 504 plans, and behavioral or developmental challenges. The substitute follows established lesson plans, adapts instruction as needed, and maintains a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
