Responsibilities of a International Customer Service Representative
Manage shipments from booking through post-delivery; single point of contact.
Counsel newly booked shipments on international relocation best practices
Check quality of pack and loading teams
Provide mid-transit status updates
Check quality of delivery teams
Answer all inquiries/status updates within a 24-hour response period
Answer inbound calls to International Department
Ensure all members are assisted in a timely manner
Distribute phone calls to team members when necessary
Ensure Utopia is updated and maintained in a timely manner.
Member ETAs, member addresses and contact information, relevant flags checked, when necessary, collect Customs Documents when necessary
Monitor all Customer Service related pre-approvals
Elevate problematic shipments to CS Team Leader
Assist with member issues and work with CS Team Leader to resolve problems
Forward quality feedback, negative and positive, to Quality Control
Maintain rapport with OA/DA agencies by relaying pertinent information provided by service members.
Assist in claims process when needed. Address any noted damaged or missing items and elevate to Quality Control/CS Team Leader in a timely manner.
Process quick claims
Assist with analytical reporting on a weekly basis.
Requirements of a International Customer Service Representative
BS in Business or International Studies preferred /1 year experience in logistics industry preferred/ 2 years experience in customer service.
Competence in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Database Software.
Ability to accurately input information into multiple systems.
Desire to assist our military and DOD.
Able to work under stress and maintain composure.
Working knowledge in multiple areas of department to aid with matters between admin, dispatch, clearing and technology development.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
Ability to multi-task and have successive time management.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
