Role Description This part time remote Political Intern role involves supporting initiatives to enhance voter education and political awareness. Responsibilities will include conducting research on political topics, assisting in the development of educational content, monitoring current events, and providing updates on legislative processes. Interns will collaborate with the team to organize virtual events, create marketing materials, and engage with the community to promote the organization's mission. Qualifications Strong research and analytical skills to gather, evaluate, and summarize political informationEffective communication skills, including writing, editing, and content creationFamiliarity with digital marketing techniques, including social media management and outreachAbility to work independently in a virtual environment and meet deadlinesA strong interest in politics, public policy, and civic engagementPursuing or holding a degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or a related fieldProficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and online collaboration toolsExperience in event planning or community organizing is a plus
