2026 Engagement Summer Internship Program

UWM is seeking an Engagement Summer Team Member to promote community awareness of our people-centric culture and mission of helping others. Our 12-week internship program offers an immersive experience with over 200 interns, job shadowing, access to senior leaders, and extensive networking opportunities. This internship is designed to give you a running start, not one that has you running errands.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGCoordinating and managing activities such as team-building events, employee recognition programs, and social gatheringsRaising awareness in communities and within our organization to promote the benefits of community efforts at UWM.Conducting daily research on geographic trends and happenings to identify opportunities for community involvement.Maintaining a calendar of events and ensure timely execution of all planned activitiesDeveloping and implementing engagement programs and events that align with UWM's culture and valuesCreating and distributing communication materials to promote engagement activities and encourage participationWHAT WE NEED FROM YOUGraduating with a bachelor's degree in 2026 or 2027 (current junior/senior status)The ability to work Monday thru Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 18th - August 7thAn openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industryEvent Planning, PR, or Communications preferred but not requiredStrong customer service skillsAbility to thrive in a team environmentA strong work ethicA drive to succeedTHE PLACE & THE PERKSReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
