Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines. Manage telephone triage with professionalism, offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education.2. Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal patient findings to physicians, documenting all observations thoroughly. Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and accurately enter billing information into electronic records.3. Support physicians during testing and treatment procedures, including applying splints and dressings. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary patient testing and admissions, and obtain referrals as needed. Assist with minor surgeries and physical exams, ensuring proper consents are secured before invasive procedures or immunizations. Provide patient education materials and verify comprehension of treatment and medication instructions. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs.4. Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring exam rooms are clean and orderly according to protocols. Sterilize instruments and verify equipment functionality.5. Perform additional duties as assigned.Education and Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required. This position offers a day shift schedule with 40 hours per week in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
