Learn more at careers.alight.com .The Carrier Operations Analyst plays a key role in delivering high-quality service across the enterprise, owning a portfolio of carrier relationships and driving operational excellence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for carriers, leading day-to-day execution while managing projects that improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.You’ll take ownership of complex workstreams—balancing project delivery, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to operate at both a tactical and strategic level, identifying smarter ways of working while ensuring seamless execution.Success in this role means delivering results, influencing stakeholders, and continuously improving processes to reduce risk, enhance quality, and scale operations.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage a portfolio of carrier relationships as the primary operational contactLead and deliver mid-sized projects independently; support larger initiatives as neededHandle escalations, analyze data, and drive resolution on complex issuesPartner with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure seamless executionSupport both day-to-day operations and new implementationsGather requirements, support UAT, and validate system updates and enhancementsIdentify and drive process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual workEnsure accuracy, performance, and SLA alignment across deliverablesSupport onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team membersProvide guidance and support on escalated operational issuesRequirements Experience managing mid-to-large scale projectsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio)Experience working with CRM systems and data analysis/queryingUnderstanding of operational workflows and process dependenciesExperience collaborating with external partners or vendors2+ years in an analyst or similar roleExperience in a regulated environmentMedicare experience is a plusWhy This RoleThis is a high-impact role where you’ll own outcomes, influence operations, and continuously improve how work gets done—with visibility across teams, systems, and leadership.By applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight’s employment policies.
