Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications
Previous management experience in fine dining or upscale steakhouse environments
Strong leadership presence with polished, professional communication skills
Passion for training and motivating service teams to confidently present and sell wine and beverage offerings
Excellent guest service mindset and conflict-resolution skills
Understanding of front-of-house operations, labor scheduling, and cost controls
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
Experience managing private dining and special events is a plus
Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure luxury service standards and guest satisfaction
Lead, train, and inspire the service team to elevate sales, engagement, and guest education around wine and beverages
Assist with hiring, scheduling, performance management, and team development
Manage opening, closing, cash handling, and daily reporting procedures
Engage directly with guests to address concerns and build loyalty
Partner with kitchen leadership for seamless service execution
Support private dining and special event service, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint
