Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are seeking a seasoned Python Full Stack Developer with extensive experience delivering robust, scalable, and high-quality enterprise applications. This role demands deep hands-on expertise across backend and frontend development, strong design and architectural ownership, and a relentless focus on engineering excellence, code quality, and Agile delivery.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern Python backend frameworks and contemporary UI technologiesArchitect and implement services with a focus on performance, security, and maintainabilityDefine and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best engineering practicesDeliver high-quality, production-ready code with a strong emphasis on readability, testing, and reliabilityParticipate actively in Agile delivery, including planning, reviews, and continuous improvementMentor team members and provide technical guidance and code reviewsRequirements:8+ years of hands-on experience in Python full-stack developmentStrong expertise in backend development with FastAPI, Flask, and API-centric architecturesSolid experience developing modern UIs such as React or Angular, including state management and component-driven designHands-on experience with Tailwind CSS or utility-first CSS frameworks for scalable UI developmentStrong understanding of microservices, asynchronous processing, and distributed systemsProven experience defining engineering standards and delivering high-quality, maintainable codebasesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments with iterative deliveryHands-on experience with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and DevOps practicesStrong problem-solving and system-design skills with attention to quality and long-term sustainabilityExperience with Node.js and ReactJSDesired skills:Experience with AI-driven or AI-assisted development, such as integrating ML endpoints, intelligent automation, or using AI tools to improve developer productivityFamiliarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and scalable deployment patternsExposure to observability, logging, monitoring, and performance tuningPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
