This role is responsible for translating technical drawings into precise CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production from prototype through full‑scale manufacturing. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze drawings, models, and specifications to develop CNC programsProgram and optimize 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis milling operations (Siemens NX required)Recommend tooling, speeds/feeds, and machining strategiesSupport fixture design and revisionsProvide detailed setup documentation, cutter lists, and operation sheetsTroubleshoot machining issues and support shop floor teamsMaintain quality standards and production schedulesCollaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsParticipate in process development and continuous improvement initiativesWork with customers and suppliers to resolve design or process issues Required QualificationsTwo‑year technical degree2+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace manufacturingProficiency with Siemens NX and solid CAD modelingStrong understanding of machine shop practicesMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipAbility to work on ITAR/EAR‑regulated programs Preferred QualificationsStrong GD&T knowledgeExperience with Vericut or similar simulation software5‑axis milling and superalloy machining experienceG‑code expertise and post‑processor refinement skillsAbility to create macros for probingKnowledge of titanium, stainless, nickel, and aluminum alloysStrong communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills Working ConditionsOn‑site manufacturing environmentFrequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 30 lbsOccasional travel up to 25%
