This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration who wants real-world exposure to corporate accounting in a dynamic, growth-oriented, employee-owned company.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Accounts Receivable SupportAssist with invoice review, coding, and data entry.Support vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Help process customer payments and perform AR aging review tasks.General Ledger & Month-End ClosePrepare and update account reconciliations under supervision.Assist with journal entries, accruals, and variance checks.Help validate transactions for accuracy and completeness.Operational & Cross-Functional SupportCollaborate with departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to gather information needed for accounting processes.Tools & SystemsWork in Excel and ERP/financial systems to input, organize, and analyze data.Assist with data validation and accuracy improvement initiatives.QualificationsEducationPursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.Completion of introductory accounting coursework required.Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookup/Xlookup, pivot tables preferred).Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.What You’ll GainHands-on experience with corporate accounting processes and systems.Exposure to both Accounting and FP&A workflows.Mentorship from experienced accounting leadersOpportunities to participate in intern activities and leadership exposureWork EnvironmentStandard office setting at Schofield, WI.Internship duration: typically 10–12 weeks (May–August).Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
