SQA Engineer - Kentucky

Job Overview 1. Coordinate the QMS quality system related business of the base, and lead the team to do a good job in QMS quality system related work, including process optimization, document control management, quality KPI control, quality culture construction and quality audit management 2. Undertake the quality system of the company, ensure the establishment, implementation and maintenance of the quality system of the base according to the requirements of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards, and coordinate the optimization of QMS system process; 3. Be responsible for identifying customer requirements and leading the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of the system of customer special requirements; 4. Be responsible for the quality KPI management of the base, and organize the quality meeting, 8D and review meeting of resumption issues; 5. Be responsible for the construction of base quality culture, and lead the planning and landing of base quality activities and quality training; 6. To meet the needs of two-party audit, three-party audit and internal audit, be responsible for the audit of quality management module, and regularly carry out system document review; 7. Be responsible for leading the certification, version change audit, supervision audit and other related certification work of the planning system according to the requirements of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards; 8. Be responsible for the management, ability improvement and development planning of SQA (QMS) team members. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor degree or above, major in science and engineering/management; Major in vehicle engineering/chemical engineering/materials/machinery/electronics/automation is preferred; At least 6 years QMS quality system working experience in vehicle manufacturing (main engine factory) and parts industry (first-class supplier), power battery industry experience is preferred; 2 years or more team management experience (≥ 3 people), Proficient in IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA6.3, 6.5 and their application; Received training in quality tools such as 8D, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC; Proficient in quality-related tools, such as QC seven tools; Master the audit of CQI-8 hierarchical process and apply it skillfully; Auditor certificates of IATF16949 and VDA6.3 are preferred; Have 6 sigma green belt or above, and master the quality analysis tools such as Minitab and JMP is preferred Good English reading and writing skills, oral English is preferred; Work hard, have strong communication skills, active thinking, and have a certain overall quality awareness; Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role. Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings. Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
