Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities in milk production facility to optimize equipment performance. Lead maintenance technicians, troubleshoot issues, implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. 1 onsite contract position in San Leandro, CA; 2nd shift (1-9 PM) or 3rd shift (9 PM-5 AM); work week Sun/Mon/Thu/Fri/Sat (off Tue/Wed); 40 hours/week. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate maintenance team activities for timely repairs and tasks. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems as needed. Ensure maintenance work complies with safety and food safety regulations. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate improvements or upgrades. Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues with minimal schedule impact. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Train and develop maintenance staff for technical competency and safety. Oversee spare parts inventory and manage maintenance budget effectively. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Perform LO/TO as required. Education & Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical degree or certification in maintenance preferred. 3-5 years proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably food production. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and team management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. Functional Skills: Preventive maintenance program development and execution. Troubleshooting, problem-solving, inventory/budget management.
