This role ensures all photography reflects a cohesive, aspirational brand aesthetic while maintaining realism, texture integrity, and speed. This position sits within Creative and works closely with Art Directors, Photographers, Designers, and Social.ResponsibilitiesRetouch and upload product photography imagesManipulate, adjust, and swap colors on products while maintaining natural texture, shadows, and lighting integrityCreate multiple color variants of a single product image as needed for product lines or promotional use.Match product images to physical color samples and style guides for visual consistency across channels.Name and maintain digital asset file|structure organizationRetouch high-volume fashion imagery across Campaign, Social content, Homepage banners, and Special projectsStrong understanding of modern editorial fashion retouchingAbility to balance polish with grit depending on campaign directionSkilled in color theory and cinematic gradingUnderstands the difference between Commercial catalog retouching, Social-native content polish, High-fashion editorial finishingAbility to elevate images without losing authenticityCrop digital photographic images|maintain file size specification guidelinesEnsure color consistency between image assetsUpload assets to servers in accordance with calendarsStrong color correction skills, matching images from different camerasPerform quality assurance on all imagesResponsible for completion of work to daily and weekly deadlinesAbility to receive creative direction from the Director, Art and the Director, Creative Services, and make amends where necessaryDemonstrate initiative and ideas to constantly improve the service of the photography teamRole RequirementsTwo plus years of experience as a Photo Retoucher in a studio environment, ideally in the Fashion eCommerce industryProven experience in photo retouching and color manipulation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating before-and-after examplesStrong knowledge of color theory, with the ability to perform color corrections, adjustments, and creative color grading to enhance product imagery.Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and PhotoshopDetail oriented, organized, and methodical approach to retouchingEnthusiasm for exploring new techniques and ideas in pursuit of improving existing workflowKnowledge of studio photography and lighting practices, as well as photographic vocabulary and terms.Able to have a detail-oriented dialogue about the properties of a given image.Passionate about teamwork and team buildingWillingness to embrace giving and receiving critical feedbackBA degree in Photography or equivalent work experienceEnglish, additional language(s) an advantageSchedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | OnsiteBenefitsNew State-of-the-art HQ located in Beverly HillsFormalized career paths for continued professional growthComprehensive health insurance across Medical, Dental and Vision401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibilityWeekly catered lunches & fully-stock kitchen pantry!Opportunities to travel for trade shows and vendor meetingsSummer Fridays Early DepartureTeam bonding events and programsAttractive employee discounts!Fashion Nova, LLC, and subsidiaries thereof, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
