Senior Project Accountant

A growing construction and project-based services organization in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Senior Accountant / Project Accountant to join their team in a highly visible role supporting large-scale projects and operational growth.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full project accounting lifecycle and working closely with Project Managers and leadership in a fast-paced environment. The company experienced record growth last year and continues to expand following a strong first quarter.Responsibilities:Manage project accounting activities across multiple active jobsPrepare monthly AIA and T&M billingsHandle billing through platforms such as Textura and ProcoreMaintain AR records and support collections effortsPartner with Project Managers on schedules of values, change orders, and progress billingsSupport financial reporting, contract documentation, and job cost trackingProcess and maintain project-related documentation, including COIs, lien waivers, and contractsGenerate project reporting and assist leadership with financial analysisProcess weekly union payroll timecardsQualifications:2–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within construction or project-based environmentsStrong background in billing, accounts receivable, and collectionsExperience with AIA billing and T&M billing requiredConstruction industry experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with Spectrum, Procore, Textura, or similar systems is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally with operations teamsWhy Join?Stable and growing organization with strong financial performanceOpportunity to own project accounting for a busy branchHigh visibility role partnering directly with leadership and operationsCollaborative team environment with growth potential
