Working within the GNSS engineering team, you’ll help deliver high-performance system and software solutions while applying rigorous avionics standards and advancing innovative GNSS technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and development of advanced GNSS solutions aligned with industry standardsDesign systems that meet or exceed performance requirementsSupport all phases of development, including design reviewsSolve complex technical challenges across new and existing technologiesCollaborate with project management to align plans, schedules, and program goalsDefine system requirements, including physical and logical interfacesWork with customers to design cockpit displays and control functionsSupport program-level change management activitiesEngage with customers to understand needs and propose effective solutionsContribute to system development, integration, and validationWhat You Bring (Required Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)5+ years of experience in GNSS developmentStrong knowledge of GNSS/GPS receiver theory, design, and applicationsExcellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and design capabilitiesSolid mathematical foundationExperience with high-speed signal acquisition and analysis (FPGA, ASIC)Experience collaborating with hardware (AEH) and software teamsWhat Sets You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)Knowledge of DO-178 certification processesUnderstanding of GNSS performance standards (DO-229, DO-253, DO-401)Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink)Knowledge of communication protocols (RS-232, RS-422, ARINC 429, Ethernet)Experience in avionics developmentWhat We OfferFast paced environment with significant autonomyStartup work environment in a well-established organization401KMatch ProgramBCBS Medical, HSA with Company contribution, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability InsurancePTO PlanAt CMC, we pride ourselves on delivering a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
