Appointed by and reporting directly to the Chair of the Department of Surgery, the Chief serves as the senior academic, clinical, and administrative leader of the Division of Otolaryngology. The successful candidate will bring a proven record of clinical excellence, scholarly achievement, and educational leadership, along with the vision and emotional intelligence required to lead in a complex academic health system. QualificationsHold a medical degree (MD, MD/MPH, MD/MBA, MD/PhD, or equivalent) Be board-certified in Otolaryngology Be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut Qualify for a faculty appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level at Yale University School of Medicine Demonstrate a strong record of leadership in clinical care, research, and education Exhibit excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to lead through influence
