Welding Instructional Assistant
Job DescriptionWorks closely with students regularly to provide instructional support in the Career and Technical Education Programs at New Castle Career CenterSupervise students being instructed. Extend instruction to students after the initial teacher presentation. Work with small groups of students to reinforce instructional material. Listen to students in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks. Help students in labs with skills. Substitute when needed in all program areas Check students' work as directed. Assist with pupil records. Make and file copies. Use and care of equipment and facilities. Maintain positive public relations. Other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or principal. Minimum QualificationsEducation: Minimum High School Diploma or EquivalentDemonstrate good oral and written communication skills.Complete a criminal history background checkPrefered QualificationsPrior Welding and/ or basic construction skillsPay And Hours3 Days Per Week - Monday- Friday 8:30-3:30.Hourly Rate: $15 an hour based on experience.TimelineResumes will be accepted until an acceptable candidate is identified.
