Sourcing & Procurement Design to Value (DtV) CoE Consulting Manager

Job DescriptionWe are:Accenture's Sourcing & Procurement practice is growing, and we're expanding our Direct Materials Center of Excellence with a talented, forward-thinking Design to Value (DtV) Manager. Our mission: help clients unlock significant value by optimizing product design, engineering, and cost structures, driving strategic improvements in product development and lifecycle management through Design to Value.You are:As a Design to Value Manager , you will partner with clients to identify opportunities for product and cost improvement, leading collaborative workshops that bring together cross-functional stakeholders to develop innovative, actionable solutions. You'll guide clients from ideation through implementation, ensuring recommendations align with business objectives and customer needs, and deliver measurable impact across the supply chain. In addition to your leadership role, you will take a hands-on approach in the lab, actively supporting product teardowns and engaging in detailed modeling activities to uncover new insights and drive tangible value.You'll work across industries to design and execute DtV strategies and operating models that improve product value, quality, and profitability. In addition, you'll lead value engineering and product optimization projects, manage project teams, and mentor consultants and analysts to deliver high-impact results.The Work:* Develop and execute comprehensive project plans from initiation through implementation and impact tracking.* Lead and coordinate project teams, leveraging internal and external subject matter experts to deliver results on time and within budget.* Facilitate workshops with client stakeholders to identify cost, design, and supply chain optimization opportunities.* Conduct spend analyses, cost diagnostics, and should-cost modeling to uncover savings and improve quality across direct materials.* Redesign products and procurement processes to enhance cost efficiency and value across the product lifecycle.* Develop and present creative, data-backed strategies for cost reduction and value enhancement to senior executives.* Build consensus among stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships to ensure long-term success and value realization.* Mentor junior team members, share best practices, and contribute to internal capability building.* Support practice growth through internal process improvements, knowledge development, and proposal support for new engagements.This role requires working onsite in the Peachtree Corners (Atlanta) lab environment to support product teardown and hands‐on activitiesQualificationWhat You Need* 5+ years of industry or related experience in strategic supply chain, operations, manufacturing roles* Cost Modeling and/or engineering design experience (CAD)* Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years' work experience)Bonus Points If:* Consulting experience with a top-tier firm and/or MBA, with hands-on delivery of cost, value, or performance improvement initiatives* Direct Material Procurement or Sourcing experience* Strong analytical problem-solver with experience structuring complex datasets, building business cases, and translating insights into clear recommendations* Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams end-to-end, balancing rigor, pace, and stakeholder alignment in complex environments* Experience facilitating Design-to-Value, cost optimization, or value engineering workshops with cross-functional teamsCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
