Chief Growth Officer

We are seeking an experiencedChief Growth Officer (CGO)to lead our company‐wide growth strategy and drive bothorganic and inorganic expansionacross our waste collection and environmental services platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will own pricing, municipal contracts, revenue quality, and acquisition strategy while leading a team of 50+ professionals across sales, operations, and business development.Key ResponsibilitiesOverall growth strategyDevelop and execute a multi‐year growth plan encompassing organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, market expansion, and service‐line extension.Translate corporate strategy into clear, measurable revenue goals, market‐share targets, and operating cadence for the executive team and board.Organic growth leadershipOwn permanentcommercial and industrial growthacross all verticals (residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and C&D) including new‐market entry and cross‐selling.Overseepricing architecture , service bundling, and rate strategies to maximize yield, margin, and customer retention while maintaining competitive positioning.Leadmunicipal and franchise contractstrategy, including RFP responses, negotiations, renewals, and long‐term franchise planning.Inorganic growth & acquisitionsLead theacquisition engine : target identification, deal screening, diligence, valuation, and integration planning across small‐to mid‐market waste collection and related service businesses.Partner with Finance and Legal to structure transactions, negotiate terms, and ensure post‐deal integration delivers on synergy and revenue‐quality targets.Maintain a disciplined acquisition pipeline and track performance against return‐on‐capital and synergy targets.Revenue quality and performance managementOwnsrevenue quality : customer mix, churn, billing accuracy, invoicing, and AR management with a focus on healthy, sustainable cash flow.Monitor key growth metrics (e.x.- revenue growth, margin, CAC, churn, win rates, capture rates on municipal bids).Partner with Finance and Operations to align pricing, contracts, and service delivery with profitability and capital efficiency.Team leadership (50+)Recruit, mentor, and lead regional sales managers, municipal account managers, business development, and pricing/analytics team.Foster a high‐performance culture with clear accountability, coaching, and development paths for commercial and growth‐related roles.Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and customer care to drive adoption, retention, and upsell.Executive CollaborationPartner with the executive team to refine market strategy, capital allocation, and go‐to‐market models.Present a clear growth narrative and progress updates to the CEO, including pipeline, deal activity, and budget‐to‐forecast performance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
